Information is easier to digest 

Busy schedules and short attention spans make this format an excellent training model. 

Self-paced online courses have been available for years, but they are not as interactive. As a Trainer, I've seen many start but not finish a self-paced course. Micro-lessons of 3-8 minutes give little reason to not finish.
