Meet Ingrid,

Starting my career out in regulatory and then moving into manufacturing, I took my experience and branched out to become a Food Safety/ Quality Systems Management Consultant and Auditor. With almost 20 years of experience in the food industry in both manufacturing and agriculture, I am very familiar with the ins and outs of food manufacturing and the produce industry which compliments my food safety audits in manufacturing, produce packing houses and distribution centers. Working both sides of the audit gives me a unique insight and advantage in working with different people and organizations, especially in produce and packing houses. On the manufacturing and packaging side, I have developed and/ or restructured Quality Assurance Departments and implemented programs and procedures necessary to meet customer and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA).

My strengths include writing, implementing and maintaining food safety programs and dealing with regulatory agencies and third party food safety certification audits. Additional knowledge includes Visual Factory Management and Process Control and my fluency in Spanish allows me to properly train Spanish speaking employees and write GAP and Food Safety Programs in Spanish.
